Walking in Mind

A Trail of Thoughts

Objet Trouvé

In a child’s eyes,

abandoned on the wall,

the pilgrim sees only

the duplicated ghost

of his own passing.

Later,

elsewhere,

a child’s eyes

close in time to the music

of a mother’s voice.

In the depths of night,

a pilgrim

treads the fields

of a child’s dream.

Old bones creak along the trail. Words often elude me at my desk. I can't go on. I'll go on.

  1. I enjoyed this, Alan. Really like the effect of the BW echo image and the idea of a ‘duplicated ghost.’ Wishing this pilgrim rich journeys, wherever they lead.
